Higher National Diploma (HND)
Although Pearson does not specify formal entry requirements, as a centre it is Info Myanmar College's responsibility to ensure that recruited students have a reasonable expectation of success on the programme. For students who have recently been in education, the entry profile is likely to include one of the following:
- A BTEC Level 3 qualification in Computing
- A GCE Advanced Level profile that demonstrates strong performance in a relevant subject, or adequate performance in more than one GCE subject
- This profile is likely to be supported by GCSE grades at A* to C (or equivalent)
- Other related Level 3 qualifications
- An Access to Higher Education Certificate awarded by an approved further education institution
- Related work experience
- An international equivalent of the above
B.Sc. Computing Global
To enter this programme at the start of Year 3, applicants need:
- A BTEC Higher National Diploma in Computing with a Networking or Software Development specialism, studied at Info Myanmar College
- Or a BTEC Higher National Diploma in Computing with a Networking or Software Development specialism from a Pearson Edexcel-accredited institution, or an equivalent qualification subject to the discretion of the programme leader
- Other related Level 3 qualifications
- English language skills: IELTS overall score 6.0, TOEFL overall score 80, Pearson's Test of Academic English (Versant) overall score 56, or Cambridge English (CPE/FCE/CAE) overall score 169
M.Sc. Information Technology
Students are eligible to apply if they hold one of the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computing
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience and rigorous internal assessment
- Without a qualification in a related field or relevant working experience: appropriate prerequisite courses determined by the university, plus a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and 5 years of working experience, subject to internal assessment
- Other qualifications equivalent to a Bachelor's degree (Level 6, MQF) in Computing or related fields, recognised by the Government of Malaysia, subject to prerequisite courses determined by the university
Minimum English Language Requirements
When you apply to study with us, you may be asked to undertake an approved language test to demonstrate your level of English competency.
You may not require an English language test if:
- You have completed your high school qualifications in English, or;
- Your bachelor's degree was taught and examined in English
